MEASUREMENTS

Vintage sizes are not the same as today's sizes. When buying vintage online, knowing your measurements is a must. So get out that tape measure! It also helps to measure a similar garment that fits you well and compare.

CLOTHING:

  • Bust: from armpit to armpit then doubled
  • Waist: at waist seam or natural waist then doubled.
  • Hips: measured 9 inches down from waist seam or natural waist then doubled
  • Bodice length: from the top of the shoulder to the waist seam or natural waist
  • Shoulder: I measure from the mid back seam to seam.
  • Sleeve: from shoulder seam to sleeve hem
  • Skirt length: from waist seam or natural waist to hem
  • Pants Inseam: from inside leg crotch seam to hem
  • Outseam: from waist to hem
  • Rise: from waist to crotch seam

SHOES:

  • Length: inside with cloth tape measure from toe to heel
  • Width: outside widest part of sole
  • Heel height: from where the heel meets shoe to heel tip

SHIPPING & PAYMENT

PAYMENT: I accept Paypal via Paypal's secure shopping cart. It's quick and easy! If you would rather make credit card payment by phone, you can call me at my shop at 812-475-8609 during regular business hours and I can send the reciept along with your purchase.

We also accept money orders for payment, but must be received in a timely fashion.

SHIPPING: We ship within 5 days of purchase. Please email if you need an item by a certain date, so I can accomadate you. We can also ship overnight Express if needed for domestic orders. International can be upgraded also, however overnight is not available. We will send a confirmation email when your item is shipped with your delivery confirmation tracking number. We ship Priority Mail.

DOMESTIC FLAT RATE SHIPPING:

  • Most garments, purses & shoes: $8.00
  • Coats: $15.00

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

    International shipping charges: $24.00. For heavier items this may be more and is determined by the weight of your packager. Please email your location after you place your order and we will add shipping to your invoice. I do combine shipping for your convenience and savings.

PLEASE NOTE: Insurance is recommended, but optional. We are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the mail. That said, I have only had 2 packages "disappear" in 10 years.

Residents of Indiana will be charged a 7% sales tax on your order.


RETURN POLICY

Items are not returnable due to size or for one time party or "costume party" use. Check all garment measurements with your own before purchasing.

You must notify us within 24 hours of the receipt of the item that you wish to return it. No return will be processed without emailing me first. Upon receipt of your return the item will be inspected and you will be issued a refund for the price of the item. It must be returned to me, undamaged, exactly as it originally was sent.

The item must arrive here within 7 days of the original purchase. Returned items will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Shipping and handling on return merchandise is not refundable. No returns will be accepted past 10 days of the original purchase date.
